Design your own VE Day “Hero Bunting” for the Mall!
We’re sad that we can’t all be together for VE day but we still want you to share your pride for the heroes of WW2 by creating and displaying your own beautiful VE bunting and helping us to decorate Stretford Mall for VE Day!
You can design this template with pictures of whatever heroes inspire you, whether it’s those who fought on the frontline or worked hard on the Homefront, or maybe in honour of your own Covid-19 personal hero!
Once your design is complete, you can either drop it into Stretford Mall when picking up your essential items or to Placemaker Events on Baron Road when walking to Stretford Meadows on your daily walk. We’ll make sure it’s displayed at the Mall for the VE celebration (8 – 10th May).
Feel free to use the template to create bunting to go inside your home too - as we’re encouraging Stretford to throw as many ‘stay at home street parties’ as possible. Look out for more on this on our social media.
