Stretford Mall welcomes Cinemama and Poppacorn screen for half term fun

It’s time to dim the lights and grab the snacks this half term, as Stretford Mall welcomes a special ‘Cinemama and Poppacorn’ screen to the centre for two days of family fun.
From 11am to 4pm on Thursday 16 and Friday 17 February, youngsters will be able to join in activities with our cinema hosts, before settling down to watch episodes of SpongeBob SquarePants and PAW Patrol complete with their own headset, on a screen in the heart of the centre.
Stretford Mall Centre Manager, Gareth Wilkins, said he was looking forward to hosting the Cinemama and Poppacorn event during the half term holidays. “It’s set to be two great days in Stretford Mall,” said Gareth.
“We’ll be showing episodes of children’s favourites SpongeBob SquarePants and PAW Patrol, alongside some fun introductions from our cinema hosts - giving youngsters plenty to do during the two days. We really enjoy putting on events in the centre and we can’t wait to roll out the red carpet and welcome families during the school break.”
“We’ve never hosted an event like this at the mall and I’m sure it’s going to prove extremely popular.”
The episodes will be showing every half an hour from 11am (with a short lunch break) on Thursday and Friday of half term. Entry to the screenings is free, on presentation of a receipt(s) to the combined value of £15 from purchases made in the mall or Market Hall on either the 16 or 17 February.  Each receipt will grant entry to two children and one accompanying adult to one film screening.
